Job Overview

We are seeking an experienced Senior Financial Manager to join our Finance Team at the Calgary Support Centre on a full-time basis for 24 months. The successful candidate will be based at the De Beers Calgary Support Centre located at the Calgary International Airport.

The schedule is currently a hybrid style consisting of two days in the office and three days at home.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and maintain a standardised and optimised systems approach to operational and consolidated budgets, commercial and investment decisions, financial reporting, and tax submissions.
  • Provide finance leadership, producing high-quality business performance and cyclical reports, performing analytics and predictive trend analysis as a core commercial decision support mechanism.
  • Plan, prepare, issue, and maintain annual operational budget, capital, financial, and audit schedules for all operations and functions within the DBCI business.
  • Lead the development of standardised and optimised financial management and reporting systems and processes.
Requirements

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • A relevant qualification in finance or accounting, such as CPA or CGMA.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to interpret complex financial data.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with diverse teams.
  • A strong understanding of financial systems, including AFC, HSF, and SAP.

The estimated salary for this position is $120,000 - $150,000 per year, depending on experience and qualifications.
