About the Opportunity

In this pivotal role as a Strategic Financial Planning Consultant at RBC, you will be an integral part of the Wealth Management Services team. Your mission is to collaborate with esteemed Advisors to deliver tailored financial planning solutions that cater to the distinct needs of High Net Worth (HNW) clients. As a trusted partner, you will also play a key role in driving business development, identifying opportunities, and contributing to revenue growth.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop comprehensive financial plans that address clients' specific requirements in areas such as financial, investment, retirement, and risk management planning.
  • Personalize each financial plan by providing expert insights on matters affecting clients, including holding companies, employee stock options, individual pension plans, retirement compensation agreements, gift and charitable planning, and more.
  • Simplify complex strategies to facilitate effective communication with Advisors.
  • Present findings to both Advisors and clients.
  • Provide ongoing coaching to Financial Planning Analysts involved in preparing financial plans.
  • Foster an innovative work environment that encourages collaboration, diversity, and creativity.
  • Build and maintain strong internal and external networks and referral sources.
Requirements
  • A minimum of ten years of experience in all aspects of financial planning.
  • Hold a professional designation such as CA, CGA, LLB, or CMA.
  • Demonstrate complex financial planning expertise.
  • Possess excellent analytical and judgment skills.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office, Naviplan Extended, or CCH (planning software).
  • Ability to work collaboratively as part of a team and independently.
