We are a reputable financial planning firm in Calgary, Alberta, with a strong presence in the market. Our team of experts excels in providing in-depth financial, tax, and estate planning services to executives and business owners.

As one of Calgary's top firms, we manage over $300 million in assets and serve more than 2000 households. We are now seeking an experienced Senior Financial Planning Consultant to join our dynamic team.

Job Description:
  • The successful candidate will be responsible for managing an assigned block of clients, growing their own book, and performing duties such as meeting preparation, portfolio rebalances, portfolio recommendations, tax planning, and client follow-ups.
  • The ideal candidate will have experience working in an advisory role, executing trading orders, and possess a Canadian Securities Course (mandatory).

Key Responsibilities include communicating with clients, creating financial plans, providing investment administrative support, preparing forms, meeting preparation, prospecting, and growing a network of referral sources.

Requirements:
  • A university degree or college diploma is preferred but not mandatory.
  • Candidates must have proficiency in MS Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and a CRM, as well as a willingness to take applicable industry courses and professional development.
  • A Team player with the ability to work in a busy office environment is essential, along with common sense problem-solving skills, attention to detail, and excellent communication skills.

We estimate the salary for this position to be around $80,000 - $120,000 per year, depending on experience.
