About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Landscaping Supervisor to join our team at LE CONSTRUCTION AND MAINTENANCE. As a key member of our outdoor spaces team, you will be responsible for planning and directing grounds maintenance, organizing construction projects, and supervising a team of 3-4 people.

Key Responsibilities
  • Plan and Direct Grounds Maintenance: Develop and implement effective maintenance strategies to ensure the upkeep of our outdoor spaces.
  • Organize and Direct Construction Projects: Oversee the construction of decks, decorative walls, and other landscape features, ensuring timely completion and high-quality results.
  • Supervise a Team: Lead and motivate a team of 3-4 people, providing guidance and support to ensure they have the resources and training needed to succeed.
  • Maintain Work Records and Logs: Accurately record and maintain records of work completed, materials used, and team performance.
  • Requisition and Order Materials: Source and procure necessary materials, equipment, and supplies to support construction and maintenance projects.
  • Establish Work Schedules and Procedures: Develop and implement efficient work schedules and procedures to ensure smooth project execution.
Requirements
  • Education: Secondary (high) school graduation certificate or equivalent experience.
  • Experience: 2 years to less than 3 years of experience in a related field.
  • Work Environment: Fast-paced environment with tight deadlines, handling heavy loads, and physically demanding tasks.
  • Physical Capabilities: Ability to distinguish between colors, combination of sitting, standing, walking, bending, crouching, and kneeling.
  • Personal Suitability: Client focus, excellent oral communication, initiative, judgment, and team player.
