About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Landscaping Supervisor to join our team at Mirage Landscaping Incorporated. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for overseeing the daily operations of our landscaping services, ensuring that all tasks are completed to the highest standard.

Key Responsibilities
  • Hiring and Supervising Staff: You will be responsible for hiring, training, and supervising a team of landscapers, ensuring that they have the necessary skills and knowledge to perform their duties effectively.
  • Grounds Maintenance: You will be responsible for planning and directing the maintenance of our clients' grounds, including lawn care, pruning, and other related tasks.
  • Landscape Construction: You will be responsible for planning, managing, and supervising landscape construction projects, including the installation of new gardens, patios, and other outdoor features.
  • Material Requisition: You will be responsible for requisitioning and ordering materials, equipment, and supplies as needed to ensure that our team has everything they need to complete their tasks.
  • Problem-Solving: You will be responsible for resolving any work-related problems that may arise, providing technical advice and recommending measures to improve productivity and product quality.
  • Work Scheduling: You will be responsible for establishing work schedules and procedures to ensure that our team is working efficiently and effectively.
  • Cleanliness: You will be responsible for ensuring that our clients' properties are kept clean and tidy, including cleaning snow and ice from walkways and parking areas.
Requirements
  • Experience: You will have at least 1 year of experience in a similar role, with a proven track record of success.
  • Education: You will have a high school diploma or equivalent, with a focus on horticulture or a related field.
  • Language: You will be fluent in English, with excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Transportation: You will have a valid driver's license and access to a reliable vehicle.
