About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Landscaping Supervisor to join our team at Mirage Landscaping Incorporated. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for overseeing the daily operations of our landscaping services, ensuring that all tasks are completed to the highest standard.

Key Responsibilities
  • Hire, Train, and Supervise Staff: Recruit, train, and supervise a team of landscaping professionals to ensure that they have the necessary skills and knowledge to perform their duties effectively.
  • Plan and Direct Grounds Maintenance: Develop and implement plans for the maintenance of our clients' properties, including lawn care, pruning, and other landscaping tasks.
  • Manage Landscape Construction Projects: Oversee the planning, execution, and completion of landscape construction projects, including the installation of new plants, trees, and other hardscapes.
  • Requisition and Manage Materials and Equipment: Source and procure the necessary materials and equipment for landscaping projects, ensuring that they are of high quality and meet our company's standards.
  • Resolve Work-Related Issues: Identify and resolve any issues that may arise during landscaping projects, providing technical advice and guidance to staff as needed.
  • Establish Work Schedules and Procedures: Develop and implement efficient work schedules and procedures to ensure that projects are completed on time and to the required standard.
  • Clean Snow and Ice from Walkways and Parking Areas: Ensure that all walkways and parking areas are clear of snow and ice during the winter months.
  • Perform Tasks Similar to Those of Workers Supervised: Be prepared to perform tasks similar to those of the workers you supervise, including manual labor and other landscaping tasks.
Requirements
  • 3-4 Years of Experience: A minimum of 3-4 years of experience in a supervisory role in the landscaping industry.
  • Excellent Communication Skills: Excellent oral and written communication skills, with the ability to communicate effectively with staff, clients, and other stakeholders.
  • Valid Driver's License: A valid driver's license and a clean driving record.
  • Ability to Work in a Fast-Paced Environment: The ability to work in a fast-paced environment, with a high level of physical activity and exposure to the elements.
  • Ability to Lift and Carry Heavy Objects: The ability to lift and carry heavy objects, including tools and equipment.
