We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Landscaping Supervisor to join our team at Alpha Better Landscaping Inc.

Key Responsibilities
  • Direct Planting Operations: Oversee the planting of trees, gardens, and lawns, ensuring high-quality results and adherence to company standards.
  • Staff Supervision: Manage and schedule staff to ensure efficient and effective completion of tasks.
  • Project Planning: Organize and plan the planting of trees, gardens, and lawns, taking into account client requirements and company objectives.
  • Technical Advice: Provide expert advice to clients on how to improve the value of their properties through landscaping.
  • Event Planning: Schedule and coordinate events, programs, and activities, ensuring seamless execution and client satisfaction.
  • Grounds Maintenance: Plan and direct grounds maintenance activities, including mowing, pruning, and other tasks.
  • Construction Management: Manage and supervise landscape construction work, ensuring timely completion and high-quality results.
  • Record Keeping: Maintain accurate and up-to-date work records and logs.
  • Equipment Maintenance: Repair and maintain equipment, including chain saws, pick-up trucks, and other machinery.
  • Supply Chain Management: Requisition materials and supplies as needed.
Supervision and Teamwork
  • Team Size: Supervise a team of 3-10 people.
Certifications and Specializations
  • Certifications: Canadian Nursery Landscape Association (CNLA) certification.
  • Specializations: Grounds maintenance and landscape construction.
Equipment Experience
  • Equipment: Chain saw, pick-up truck, small engine equipment, sod cutter, and skidsteer.
Work Conditions and Requirements
  • Work Environment: Physically demanding, fast-paced environment.
  • Physical Demands: Standing for extended periods, manual dexterity, and attention to detail.
  • Personal Protective Equipment: Own steel-toed boots and gloves.
