Job Title: Senior Consultant, Solution Design

We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Consultant, Solution Design to join our team at the Canadian Imperial Bank of Commerce. As a key member of our technology team, you will be responsible for leading the functional design and development of application systems across all technologies and platforms.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Lead complex solution design activities and coordinate with cross-functional teams to ensure alignment with business requirements.
  • Translate business requirements into system and application design that aligns with our technology roadmap.
  • Design and document technical functionality, infrastructure, interfaces, and integrations.
  • Lead the design of cost-effective and innovative solutions to meet business objectives and operational efficiency.
Requirements:
  • Minimum 3-6 years of experience as a Solution or Technical Architect/Consultant.
  • Excellent knowledge of various technologies, including event-driven architecture, REST APIs, microservice architecture, CI/CD processes, and DevOps pipelines.
  • Hands-on experience in Java, Golang, SQL (Oracle/SQL Server), and App containerization.
  • Strong technical leadership skills and ability to mentor junior designers and developers.
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills, with experience presenting to project teams and executives.
