Estimated Salary: $45,000 - $55,000 per year
About the Role:The Health Care Aide II Specialist acts as a member of the health care team, assisting with resident care and providing basic supportive care as directed. This role requires excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, as well as the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide direct care to residents, including bathing, dressing, and feeding;
- Assist residents with mobility and transfers;
- Participate in the development and implementation of individualized care plans;
- Communicate effectively with residents, families, and healthcare team members;
- Maintain accurate and complete records of resident care.
Requirements:
- Graduate of an approved Health Care Aide training program;
- Experience in Long Term Care or Chronic Care;
- Ability to communicate in both official languages (English and French) is required;
- Demonstrated interpersonal and relationship skills with residents, families, and coworkers;
- Ability to organize and prioritize assigned workload;
- Ability to respond to a variety of simultaneous demands;
- Demonstrated ability to work with minimal supervision;
- Current Criminal Record Check for the Vulnerable Sector and Adult Abuse Registry check deemed satisfactory by the Employer.
