About the Role

The Winnipeg Regional Health Authority is seeking a skilled Health Care Aide to join their team. As a member of the health care team, you will assist with client personal care and provide basic supportive care as directed.

Key Responsibilities

  • Assist with client personal care, including bathing, dressing, and grooming
  • Provide basic supportive care, such as feeding and toileting assistance
  • Work under the general supervision of the Team Coordinator or designate
  • Demonstrate a commitment to the vision, values, goals, and objectives of the region/site/program

Requirements

  • Previous client care experience required
  • Community or geriatric experience preferred
  • Minimum Grade 10 education, Manitoba standards, required
  • Successful completion of a recognized Health Care Aide course required

Working Conditions

This position involves extensive physical activity, including lifting, transferring, and transporting clients and equipment.

Compensation

The estimated salary for this position is $23,990 per year, based on the provided salary range of $20.090 - $23.990 per hour and assuming a 37.5-hour workweek.
