About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Food Service Supervisor to join our team at Guac Mexi Grill. As a key member of our operations team, you will be responsible for overseeing the daily activities of our food service staff, ensuring that our high standards of quality and customer service are consistently met.

Key Responsibilities
  • Staff Supervision: Supervise and coordinate the activities of staff who prepare and portion food, ensuring that all tasks are completed efficiently and effectively.
  • Training and Development: Train staff in job duties, sanitation and safety procedures, and provide ongoing coaching and feedback to ensure that they have the skills and knowledge needed to succeed in their roles.
  • Inventory Management: Estimate ingredient and supplies required for meal preparation, and maintain accurate records of stock, repairs, sales, and wastage.
  • Customer Service: Address customers' complaints or concerns in a professional and courteous manner, ensuring that all issues are resolved promptly and to the satisfaction of the customer.
  • Team Leadership: Lead and motivate a team of 5-10 staff members, providing guidance and support to ensure that they are working together effectively to achieve our goals.
Requirements
  • Education: Secondary (high) school graduation certificate
  • Experience: 1 year to less than 2 years of experience in a food service supervisory role
  • Work Setting: Restaurant environment
  • Work Conditions and Physical Capabilities: Combination of sitting, standing, walking, and physically demanding tasks
  • Personal Suitability: Efficient interpersonal skills, flexibility, and a team player attitude
