About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Food Service Supervisor to join our team at Guac Mexi Grill. As a key member of our restaurant team, you will be responsible for overseeing the daily operations of our food service department.

Key Responsibilities
  • Supervise and Coordinate Staff: Lead and manage a team of 5-10 staff members who prepare and portion food, ensuring that all tasks are completed efficiently and to a high standard.
  • Train and Develop Staff: Provide training and guidance to staff members on job duties, sanitation, and safety procedures, ensuring that they have the skills and knowledge required to perform their roles effectively.
  • Inventory Management: Estimate and manage inventory levels of ingredients and supplies required for meal preparation, minimizing waste and ensuring that we have the necessary stock to meet customer demand.
  • Customer Service: Address customer complaints and concerns in a professional and courteous manner, ensuring that all customers receive a high level of service.
  • Record Keeping: Maintain accurate records of stock, repairs, sales, and wastage, providing valuable insights into our business operations.
Requirements
  • Education: Secondary (high) school graduation certificate
  • Experience: 1 year to less than 2 years of experience in a food service supervisory role
  • Work Setting: Restaurant environment with a fast-paced and dynamic atmosphere
  • Physical Demands: Combination of sitting, standing, and walking, with a physically demanding workload
  • Personal Suitability: Efficient interpersonal skills, flexibility, and a team player attitude
