Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Food Service Supervisor to join our team at Guac Mexi Grill. As a key member of our restaurant team, you will be responsible for overseeing the daily operations of our food service department.

Key Responsibilities
  • Supervise and Coordinate Activities

Supervise and co-ordinate the activities of staff who prepare and portion food, ensuring that all food is prepared to our high standards.

Train and Develop Staff

Train staff in job duties, sanitation and safety procedures, and provide ongoing coaching and feedback to ensure that they have the skills and knowledge needed to succeed in their roles.

Inventory Management

Estimate ingredient and supplies required for meal preparation, and maintain accurate records of stock, repairs, sales, and wastage.

Customer Service

Address customers' complaints or concerns in a professional and courteous manner, ensuring that all customers receive excellent service.

Requirements
  • Education

Secondary (high) school graduation certificate is required.

Work Experience

1 year to less than 2 years of experience in a food service supervisory role is preferred.

Work Environment

Work under pressure in a fast-paced restaurant environment, with a combination of sitting, standing, and walking.

Physical Demands

Physically demanding role, requiring the ability to lift, bend, and stand for long periods.

Personal Qualities

Efficient interpersonal skills, flexibility, and a team player attitude are essential for success in this role.

Working Conditions
  • Work Schedule

35 to 40 hours per week, with flexibility to work varied shifts, including evenings and weekends.

Language

English is the primary language of communication in this role.
