Franchise Banking Specialist

Scotiabank is seeking a highly skilled Franchise Banking Specialist to join our team. As a key member of our Commercial Business Banking team, you will be responsible for developing and maintaining relationships with franchise business owners, identifying opportunities for growth and providing expert advice on financial solutions.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Develop and maintain relationships with franchise business owners, understanding their financial needs and providing expert advice on financial solutions.
  • Identify opportunities for growth and develop strategies to increase revenue and market share.
  • Collaborate with internal stakeholders to ensure seamless delivery of financial solutions and services.
  • Stay up-to-date with market trends and competitor activity, providing insights and recommendations to the team.
Requirements:
  • Post-secondary education in accounting, finance, business law, or economics.
  • Experience in the field of franchising, either through education or work experience.
  • Knowledge of business products and services, including financial solutions and risk management.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build strong relationships with franchise business owners and internal stakeholders.
