About This Opportunity

We are seeking a full-time Mechanical Project Coordinator who must be skilled, detail-oriented, and result-focused. The successful candidate will report directly to the Project Manager and be responsible for institutional and industrial projects.

Key Responsibilities

  • Assist the Project Manager to ensure project objectives, policies, procedures, and performance standards are in accordance with company policy and contract specifications.
  • Assist in planning and preparing construction schedules and milestones and monitor progress against established timelines.
  • Build and maintain customer and supplier/vendor relationships.
  • Prepare progress reports and issue progress schedules to clients.
  • Trade and subcontractor coordination.
  • Document control.
  • Purchase supplies and materials as required to complete project.
  • Ensure site is operating in accordance with health, safety, and environmental standards.

Education Requirements

  • A College Diploma in Construction or Mechanical Engineering Technology or a University Degree in Mechanical Engineering.
  • Experience in the trades may substitute for education requirements.

Work Experience Requirements

  • Experience in the construction industry would be considered an asset.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications such as Word, Excel, Project, and Outlook.
