Job Summary

We are seeking an experienced Administrative Coordinator to join our team at UPS Store 47. The successful candidate will be responsible for implementing new administrative procedures, reviewing and evaluating existing procedures, and delegating work to office support staff.

Key Responsibilities

  • Implement new administrative procedures to improve office efficiency
  • Review and evaluate existing procedures to ensure they are effective and up-to-date
  • Delegate work to office support staff to ensure tasks are completed efficiently
  • Establish work priorities and ensure procedures are followed and deadlines are met
  • Carry out administrative activities of the establishment, including administering policies and procedures related to the release of records
  • Assemble data and prepare periodic and special reports, manuals, and correspondence
  • Train staff on new procedures and policies
  • Oversee and coordinate office administrative procedures
  • Resolve conflict situations and coach staff
  • Monitor and evaluate office operations to ensure they are running smoothly

Additional Responsibilities

  • Provide diversity and cross-cultural training to create a welcoming work environment for newcomers and refugees
  • Provide awareness training to employees to create a welcoming work environment for youth
  • Provide cultural competency training and awareness training to all employees to create a welcoming work environment for Indigenous workers
  • Provide diversity and cross-cultural training to create a welcoming work environment for members of visible minorities

Requirements

  • 1 year to less than 2 years of experience in an administrative role
  • Permanent position
  • 35 hours per week
  • English language proficiency
