About the Role

FIRM ANCHOR III CORP. is seeking a highly skilled Food Service Supervisor to join our team in a dynamic food service establishment. As a key member of our operations team, you will be responsible for ensuring the smooth day-to-day running of our food service operations.

Key Responsibilities
  • Supervise and Coordinate Staff: Oversee the activities of food service counter attendants and food preparers, ensuring that they are working efficiently and effectively to meet customer needs.
  • Train and Develop Staff: Provide training and guidance to staff on job duties, sanitation and safety procedures, and culinary techniques to ensure that they have the skills and knowledge required to perform their roles.
  • Manage Inventory and Supplies: Estimate and order ingredients and supplies required for meal preparation, ensuring that we have the necessary stock to meet customer demand.
  • Ensure Quality Control: Monitor and maintain high standards of food quality and customer service, ensuring that our customers receive an excellent dining experience.
  • Manage Budget and Finances: Prepare and manage budgets and cost estimates, ensuring that we are operating within our financial means.
  • Address Customer Complaints: Respond promptly and professionally to customer complaints and concerns, resolving issues in a timely and satisfactory manner.
  • Maintain Records and Reports: Maintain accurate records of stock, repairs, sales, and wastage, providing regular reports to management on key performance indicators.
Requirements
  • Education: Secondary (high) school graduation certificate
  • Experience: 1 to less than 7 months of experience in a food service establishment
  • Work Environment: Fast-paced environment with frequent standing and walking required
  • Work Setting: Food service establishment with on-site customer service
  • Language: English
  • Hours: 30 hours per week
