Job Summary:
We are seeking a highly skilled Snow Cat Operator Lead to join our team at Vail Resorts. As a key member of our Snow Cat Operation team, you will be responsible for maintaining the picturesque appearance of our snow and ski slopes.
Key Responsibilities:
- Operate heavy equipment to ensure the best possible snow surface for thrill seekers
- Understand and maintain the use, operation, and maintenance of snow/slope grooming equipment
- Perform routine inspections and preventative maintenance to minimize downtime
- Communicate effectively with coworkers and other departments to provide direction and support
Requirements:
- 2-4 years of snow grooming experience required
- Valid driver's license with no restrictions
- Ability to work in small groups as well as independently
- Able to sit for extended periods of time while operating the snowcat
