We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Chef to join our team at Mother Tongue. As a key member of our culinary team, you will be responsible for maintaining records of food costs, analyzing operating costs, and supervising activities of specialist chefs and kitchen staff.
Key Responsibilities- Maintain accurate records of food costs, consumption, sales, and inventory.
- Analyze operating costs and other data to optimize kitchen operations.
- Supervise and train specialist chefs, chefs, cooks, and other kitchen staff to ensure high-quality food preparation and presentation.
- Requisition food and kitchen supplies to maintain a well-stocked kitchen.
- Develop and implement new cooking techniques and menu ideas to enhance the dining experience.
- 1 year to less than 2 years of experience in a similar role.
- Permanent employment with a minimum of 35 hours per week.
- Fluency in English.
