Job Title: Executive Chef

We are seeking an experienced Executive Chef to join our team at MJ BYRNES IRISH PUB INC. as a key member of our culinary team.

Job Summary:

The Executive Chef will be responsible for leading our kitchen team in the preparation and presentation of high-quality dishes, ensuring exceptional customer service, and maintaining a clean and safe working environment.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Menu Planning and Execution: Develop and implement menus that showcase our culinary expertise and meet the expectations of our customers.
  • Culinary Leadership: Lead and motivate our kitchen team to achieve exceptional results, providing guidance and support to ensure seamless service delivery.
  • Food Safety and Quality: Maintain the highest standards of food safety and quality, ensuring that all dishes meet our quality standards and are presented in an appealing manner.
  • Inventory Management: Manage inventory levels, ordering supplies, and maintaining a clean and organized kitchen environment.
  • Team Collaboration: Work closely with our front-of-house team to ensure seamless service delivery and exceptional customer experience.
Requirements:
  • Education: College/CEGEP degree in Culinary Arts or related field.
  • Experience: 1 year to less than 2 years of experience in a senior culinary role.
  • Skills: Strong leadership and communication skills, ability to work under pressure, and attention to detail.
