Job Summary

At Health Sciences Centre, we are seeking a skilled Registered Nurse to join our team as a General Duty Nurse. This is a challenging and rewarding role that requires a high level of clinical expertise and leadership skills.

Key Responsibilities

  • Provide professional registered nursing services for patients with complex and unpredictable health needs.
  • Administer prescribed medical treatments and facilitate coordination of patient care and discharge.
  • Lead the healthcare team and demonstrate a commitment to the vision, values, goals, and objectives of the region/facility/unit.

Requirements

  • Recent, related experience is preferred.
  • Graduate of an approved Registered Nursing education program required.
  • Maintain and provide proof of registration with the College of Registered Nurses of Manitoba (CRNM).

Preferred Qualifications

  • Active participation in professional associations e.g. Association of Regulated Nurses of Manitoba (ARNM) preferred.
  • Cardiopulmonary Resuscitation (CPR) training requirements for this position shall be in accordance with the Employer policy.
