Job Title: Nurse Practitioner

Winnipeg Regional Health Authority is seeking a highly skilled and experienced Nurse Practitioner to join our team.

Job Summary:

The successful candidate will be responsible for providing high-quality patient care, conducting health assessments, and developing and implementing individualized care plans. They will also be responsible for collaborating with other healthcare professionals to ensure comprehensive care.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Conduct comprehensive health assessments and develop individualized care plans
  • Provide high-quality patient care, including medication management and wound care
  • Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to ensure comprehensive care
  • Participate in quality improvement initiatives to enhance patient care
  • Stay up-to-date with the latest clinical practices and guidelines
Requirements:
  • Master's degree in Nursing, Nurse Practitioner Stream or equivalent educational preparation
  • Current registration with the College of Registered Nurses of Manitoba
  • Minimum five (5) years recent acute adult Medicine and/or Surgery and/or Cardiology and/or Cardiac Surgery nursing experience
  • Advanced nursing care knowledge related to health assessment, diagnostics, pharmacotherapeutics, and invasive and minor surgical procedures
Preferred Qualifications:
  • Knowledge of computer systems and proficiency in the use of common software
  • Active participation in professional associations, such as the Association of Registered Nurses of Manitoba
