Nurse Practitioner Position

We are seeking a skilled Nurse Practitioner to join our team at Pan Am Clinic. As a key member of our healthcare team, you will provide high-quality patient care and contribute to the development of our clinical services.
Job Summary:The successful candidate will have a strong background in primary care and extended practice nursing, with a focus on health assessment, diagnostics, and pharmacotherapeutics. You will work collaboratively with our multidisciplinary team to provide comprehensive care to our patients.
Responsibilities:- Provide autonomous nursing care to patients, including health assessments, diagnostic testing, and medication management.
- Collaborate with physicians and other healthcare professionals to develop and implement patient care plans.
- Contribute to the development of clinical policies and procedures, and participate in quality improvement initiatives.
- Provide education and support to patients and their families, and participate in community outreach and health promotion activities.
- Master's degree in Nursing, Nurse Practitioner Stream or equivalent.
- Current registration with the College of Registered Nurses of Manitoba (CRNM) and eligibility for registration on the Extended Practice Register.
- Minimum of five years recent clinical nursing experience, preferably in primary care.
- Experience working with clients with mental health and/or addictions an asset.
