About the Role

This is a permanent full-time position requiring approximately 35 hours of work per week. The ideal candidate will have 1 year to less than 2 years of experience in a similar role and will be able to work independently with tight deadlines.

Key Responsibilities

The successful candidate will be responsible for:

  • Calculating and preparing cheques for payroll
  • Calculating fixed assets and depreciation
  • Maintaining general ledgers and financial statements
  • Posting journal entries
  • Preparing other statistical, financial and accounting reports
  • Preparing tax returns
  • Reconciling accounts
Requirements

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • A strong understanding of accounting principles and practices
  • Excellent organizational and time management skills
  • Ability to work accurately and efficiently under pressure
  • Proficiency in Quick Books, Simply Accounting, TaxPrep, and Sage Accounting Software
What We Offer

In exchange for your hard work and dedication, we offer a competitive salary range of $45,000 - $60,000 per year, depending on experience.
