About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Retail Store Supervisor to join our team at Genesis Exotic Market Inc. As a key member of our sales and operations team, you will be responsible for overseeing the daily operations of our retail store, ensuring excellent customer service, and driving sales growth.

Key Responsibilities
  • Supervise and Train Staff: Lead and motivate a team of sales staff, providing guidance and support to ensure they meet sales targets and provide exceptional customer service.
  • Manage Sales and Operations: Oversee the daily operations of the retail store, including inventory management, visual merchandising, and sales floor management.
  • Exhibit Design and Development: Collaborate with our design team to plan and develop permanent and temporary exhibits and displays for our retail space.
  • Customer Service: Ensure that all customers receive excellent service, responding to their needs and resolving any issues that may arise.
  • Reporting and Analysis: Prepare and analyze sales reports, providing insights and recommendations to improve sales performance and customer satisfaction.
  • Inventory Management: Oversee the receipt, storage, and distribution of merchandise, ensuring that inventory levels are accurate and up-to-date.
  • Staff Supervision: Supervise and coordinate the activities of sales staff, ensuring that they are meeting sales targets and providing excellent customer service.
  • Payroll and Administration: Oversee payroll administration, including processing payroll, managing benefits, and ensuring compliance with employment laws and regulations.
Requirements
  • Education: Secondary (high) school graduation certificate
  • Experience: 7 months to less than 1 year
  • Work Environment: Fast-paced retail environment
  • Work Setting: Retail service establishment
  • Physical Capabilities: Combination of sitting, standing, walking, and standing for extended periods
  • Personal Suitability: Accurate, client-focused, efficient interpersonal skills, excellent oral communication, flexibility, organized, reliability, team player, dependability, initiative, and judgment
