Job Title: Sessional Instructional Assistant: Technology Strategy
Job Summary:
We are seeking a highly qualified Sessional Instructional Assistant to support the teaching and learning process in the Business Minor program at the University of Toronto Mississauga. The successful candidate will have a strong background in Strategic Management and Economics, and will be responsible for grading quizzes, tests, and assignments, as well as meeting with students and updating course material.
Key Responsibilities:
- Grading quizzes, tests, and assignments
- Meeting with students during office hours
- Invigilating quizzes, tests, and exams
- Updating course material and grades on Quercus courseware
- Attending weekly lectures and reviewing lecture material
- Other duties as required
Requirements:
- Preferably a PhD or Masters student with a background in Strategic Management and Economics
- Knowledge of business strategy and economics
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
Working Conditions:
The successful candidate will be working in a dynamic and fast-paced environment, with a focus on delivering high-quality teaching and learning experiences. The position is part-time, with an estimated 40 hours per week.
