Job Description:
We are seeking qualified candidates for Sessional Instructional Assistant positions in the Winter 2025 term. The successful candidates will assist in the delivery of instructional sessions, provide support to students, and contribute to the development of course materials.
Responsibilities:
- Conduct in-person tutorials and maintain scheduled office hours
- Grade assignments and provide feedback to students
- Invigilate exams and quizzes
- Perform clerical duties as required
Requirements:
- Must have completed formal education/experience specific to the subject area
- Must be familiar with Quercus
- Demonstrated teaching excellence and advanced technological skills are required

Additional Information:
The rate of pay for a Sessional Instructional Assistant (SIA) is $52.26 per hour in accordance with CUPE 3902, Unit 3 Collective Agreement.
Please note that preference in hiring is given to qualified individuals advanced to the rank of Sessional Lecturer II or Sessional Lecturer III in accordance with Article 14:12 of the CUPE 3902 Unit 3 collective agreement.
