Sessional Instructional Assistant Positions at University of Toronto

We are seeking highly qualified candidates to fill Sessional Instructional Assistant positions in the Institute of Communication, Culture, Information and Technology at the University of Toronto. As a Sessional Instructional Assistant, you will be responsible for conducting in-person tutorials, maintaining scheduled office hours, and grading assignments. You will also be expected to invigilate exams and perform clerical duties as needed.
The ideal candidate will have a strong academic background in a relevant field and excellent communication and interpersonal skills. You will be working with students and faculty members, so it is essential that you are able to work effectively in a team environment.
We offer a competitive hourly rate of $52.26, as per the CUPE 3902, Unit 3 Collective Agreement. If you are a motivated and organized individual who is passionate about teaching and learning, we encourage you to apply for this exciting opportunity.
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct in-person tutorials and maintain scheduled office hours
- Grade assignments and exams
- Invigilate exams
- Perform clerical duties as needed
