Role Overview

The Senior Data Analyst role at WalterFedy is designed for a seasoned professional with strong technical and business analysis skills. This position requires expertise in managing data systems and processes, while also playing a pivotal role in understanding business needs, improving processes, and implementing IT strategies that align with organizational goals.

Key Responsibilities

  • Monitor and maintain data systems to ensure availability, security, and integrity, while optimizing performance and managing disaster recovery.
  • Collaborate with stakeholders to analyze business needs, processes, and systems, providing strategic recommendations to improve IT services and align with organizational goals.
  • Automate tasks to enhance system performance and efficiency, identifying opportunities for process optimization.
  • Lead IT projects, managing timelines, budgets, and resources to ensure successful system updates and data-related initiatives.
  • Develop IT policies, ensure compliance with standards, and conduct regular audits to maintain security and system reliability.
  • Partner with senior leadership to guide strategic IT decisions and provide data-driven insights that support business initiatives.
  • Assist with various tasks and projects as assigned by supervisors or senior team members to support the overall success of the team and company objectives.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree or College Diploma in IT, Computer Science, Business Analysis, or a related field.
  • 5+ years of experience in IT data management, business analysis, or a similar role.
  • Advanced expertise in data management systems, IT operations, and business analysis, including process mapping and system design.
  • Proficient in automation scripting (e.g., SQL, Python), web programming, and API integration.
  • Strong problem-solving skills, able to independently resolve complex issues.
  • Familiarity with IT ticketing systems, remote desktop management, and Active Directory.
  • Preferred certifications: ITIL, CompTIA Security+, Cisco CCNA, MS certification, and business analysis certifications like CDMP, CAP, CBAP.
  • Strong communication, collaboration, and strategic thinking skills.
