Job Description

At Belief Tech Development, we are seeking a skilled Data Analyst and Database Strategist to join our team. This role involves collecting data to identify areas for improvement within our IT infrastructure, developing and implementing a strategic blueprint for deploying databases, and operating database management systems to analyze data.

About the Role

This position requires strong computer and technology knowledge, including MySQL, database software, MS Office, MS Windows, and SQL. The ideal candidate should be organized, a team player, and have excellent personal suitability. As part of this role, you will also support newcomers and refugees by facilitating access to community resources, language training, and skills training, and provide awareness training to employees to create a welcoming work environment for Veterans and members of visible minorities.

Main Responsibilities
  • Collect data to identify areas for improvement within our IT infrastructure
  • Develop and implement a strategic blueprint for deploying databases
  • Liaise with staff on data requirements, collection, and availability
  • Test data models and database management systems
  • Operate database management systems to analyze data
  • Develop and implement data administration policy and standards
  • Research and document data requirements, data collection, and administration policy, and data access rules
