About the JobThe Alternative Care Worker will be responsible for delivering comprehensive services that address the unique needs of children in our care. Key responsibilities include:
- Developing and implementing tailored care plans in collaboration with multidisciplinary teams
- Providing ongoing support and guidance to children, youth, and families
- Maintaining accurate records and reports to ensure compliance with regulatory requirements
To be successful in this role, you will require:
- A minimum two-year Human Services Worker Diploma or equivalent qualification
- Two years of experience working with Anishinabek children, youth, individuals, families, and communities
- Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work flexible hours and travel regularly
In addition, we prefer candidates with a Bachelor of Social Work (BSW) degree and prior child welfare experience.
