About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Executive Assistant of Child Welfare to join our team. As a key member of our staff, you will provide administrative support to the Director of Child Welfare and the Associate ED, ensuring the smooth operation of our child welfare services.

Main Responsibilities
  • Provide administrative assistance to the Director of Child Welfare and the Associate ED.
  • Develop and implement effective administrative systems and procedures.
  • Conduct research and gather data to inform decision-making.
  • Develop and maintain reports, presentations, and other documents.
  • Manage special projects and other assignments as required.

Requirements

To be considered for this role, you must have:
  • An Administrative Diploma from a recognized community college or degree from a recognized university.
  • A minimum of 2 years' experience at a Senior Administrative level.
  • DIRECT SERVICE EXPERIENCE WITH ANISHINABEK CHILDREN, FAMILIES, AND COMMUNITIES.
  • Knowledge of the Child & Family Services Act is an asset.
  • Satisfactory Criminal Records Search.
  • Ability to work flexible hours and travel occasionally.
  • A Class "G" Driver's License with access to a reliable personal vehicle and $1 million dollar liability insurance.
