The Anishinabek Employment & Training Services is seeking a highly skilled Child Welfare Case Manager to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for providing children's services and child protection services by performing Children's Services, Intake and Ongoing Protection Services, in accordance with provisions of Dilico Anishinabek Family Care's Mikinaak Service model, the Child and Family Services Act, Ministerial Regulations and Standards, protocols and policies and procedures.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide children's services and child protection services
  • Perform Children's Services, Intake and Ongoing Protection Services
  • Work in accordance with provisions of Dilico Anishinabek Family Care's Mikinaak Service model, the Child and Family Services Act, Ministerial Regulations and Standards, protocols and policies and procedures

Qualifications:

  • A minimum two-year Human Services Worker Diploma
  • Post-Secondary education with child welfare experience
  • A minimum of two years experience with Anishinabek children, youth, individuals and families and communities
  • Three years or more of demonstrated ability to design, implement and manage health programs and services
  • Knowledge of primary health care systems and primary care models
  • A satisfactory Criminal Records Check, Vulnerable Sector Search
  • Ability to work flexible hours
  • Travel regularly and act on an 'on-call' basis
  • Valid Class 'G' Driver's license
  • Access to a reliable, personal vehicle
  • $1,000,000 liability vehicle insurance
