Job Summary:
We are seeking an experienced Child Protection and Support Services Coordinator to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for providing essential support services to Anishinabek children, youth, individuals, and families.
Key Responsibilities:
- Providing Children's Services and Intake Protection Services in accordance with Dilico's Mikinaak Service model.
- Collaborating with colleagues and stakeholders to ensure effective service delivery.
- Conducting home visits and assessments to identify client needs.
- Developing and implementing individualized plans to support clients.
- Maintaining accurate records and reporting as required.
Requirements:
- A minimum post-secondary Diploma.
- A four-year HBSW is preferred.
- A minimum two years' experience working with Anishinabek children, youth, individuals, and families.
- Preferably Child Welfare experience.
- Candidates without specific education qualifications but with appropriate combinations of experience and other academic qualifications will also be considered.
- Satisfactory Criminal Records Search; vulnerable sector search.
