Executive Assistant to the President

Are you a highly organized and detail-oriented individual with a passion for international development? Do you have experience in administrative support and a strong understanding of operational procedures? We are seeking an Executive Assistant to the President to join our team at the International Development Research Centre (IDRC).
About the RoleThe Executive Assistant to the President will play a key role in ensuring the efficient and effective management of the President's Office. This includes managing the President's agenda and calendar, leading forward engagements, planning and coordinating travel, and supporting presidential decision making and operational excellence.
Responsibilities- Manage the President's agenda and calendar, ensuring timely and effective communication with stakeholders
- Lead forward engagements, planning and coordinating travel, and supporting presidential decision making
- Coordinate daily activities, prioritize incoming work, and maintain a rolling weekly, monthly, and quarterly view of the President's engagements
- Monitor and compile issues coming into the President's Office, aggregating them into a daily briefing format to facilitate decision making
- Liaise with internal and external stakeholders, screening correspondence and analyzing information required for a response
- Post-secondary education in a relevant field
- Proficiency in English and French at an advanced level
- Minimum 10 years of relevant experience in a similar role, with at least 5 years in support of a senior official
- Advanced skills in using digital tools, such as relationship management, budgeting, and Microsoft applications
- Knowledge of and/or interest in the Centre's mission and work as it relates to International Development
