Capital Planning and Environment Management – Executive Vice President

**Job Summary**

We are seeking an experienced Executive Vice President to lead our Capital Planning and Environment Management team. As a key member of our Executive Management Committee, you will provide strategic direction and leadership to the implementation of the National Capital Act.

**Key Responsibilities**

* Lead the preparation and implementation of plans for the conservation and development of federal lands in the National Capital Region
* Coordinate transportation initiatives and projects involving collaboration between the Client and provinces, cities, and federal departments and agencies
* Coordinate environmental components of major Client projects

**Functional Responsibilities**

* Participate in corporate initiatives and committees, and represent the Client in external projects and committees to advance, influence, and protect the interests and evolution of the Capital
* Lead the development of strategies for federal involvement in transportation and transit in the National Capital Region
* Lead the Client heritage program, including the designation of heritage buildings and management of Client archeological sites and assets
* Represent, negotiate for, and provide advice to Client branches, federal departments, municipalities, and other agencies toward the implementation of the Client's land use and aesthetic control mandate

**Preferred Experience / Education**

* Masters degree with a minimum of 12 years of experience in this specific field, 10 years of executive experience, and bilingual CCC

**Location and Travel**

* This position is based at the Client's corporate headquarters in Downtown, Ottawa
