About the Role

We are seeking an experienced and motivated Customer Service Manager to join our team at Super 8 by Wyndham. As a key member of our front-line staff, you will be responsible for ensuring that our guests receive exceptional service and have a memorable stay with us.

Job Description

The Customer Service Manager will oversee the day-to-day operations of our hotel, including coordinating activities with other departments, establishing work schedules and procedures, and performing tasks related to guest services. This role requires strong communication and problem-solving skills, as well as the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities
  • Coordinate activities with other work units or departments to ensure seamless delivery of services to our guests
  • Establish work schedules and procedures to maintain high levels of productivity and efficiency
  • Perform same duties as workers supervised to demonstrate leadership and support
  • Prepare and submit reports to management on guest feedback, employee performance, and operational issues
  • Resolve work problems, provide technical advice, and recommend measures to improve productivity and product quality
  • Assist clients/guests with special needs to ensure their comfort and satisfaction
  • Coordinate, assign, and review work to ensure tasks are completed efficiently and effectively
  • Hire and train staff in job duties, safety procedures, and company policies to maintain a skilled and knowledgeable workforce
  • Maintain operation of computer systems, equipment, machinery, and arrange repair work to ensure business continuity and customer service delivery
  • Requisition materials and supplies to maintain adequate inventory levels and prevent stockouts
Requirements
  • 1 year to less than 2 years of experience in a customer service or supervisory role
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills to interact with guests, employees, and other stakeholders
  • Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment and prioritize multiple tasks simultaneously
  • Leadership skills to motivate and guide team members to achieve exceptional results
  • Basic math skills to handle cash, operate a point-of-sale system, and perform basic bookkeeping functions
