Job Summary:

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Manager, Creative Services to lead our visual design solutions team. As a key member of our marketing department, you will be responsible for developing and implementing creative strategies that drive business results.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Project Management:
    • Oversee the entire creative process from concept to production, ensuring projects are completed on time and within budget.
  • Stakeholder Management:
    • Meet with internal stakeholders to understand their needs, present ideas, and gather feedback throughout the project lifecycle.
    • Work with stakeholders to offer alternative solutions when a request is out of scope for the team.
    • Manage external vendors and freelancers and ensure effective and efficient use of resources.
  • Brand Visual Identity Lead:
    • Act as brand ambassador for CEI Fleet Collision and Safety and ensure consistent and aligned usage.
    • Implement quality assurance process to maintain high standards in all creative outputs, including mandates around brand compliance.
    • Ensure internal and external developed creative is consistent with brand standards.
  • Team Leadership:
    • Lead and manage a team of creative professionals, including designers and content writers to ensure high-quality output.
    • Lead creative brainstorming sessions with cross-functional teams.
    • Allocate resources effectively across multiple projects, balancing workloads and ensuring optimal productivity.
    • Continuously seek ways to improve workflows and processes to enhance efficiency and creativity.
    • Drive and facilitate training and development plans for the team, ensuring there is continuous learning and growth.
    • Manage project deliverables for the creative team and mentor members by providing guidance on any issues or queries related to relationship management, creative direction, or project timelines.
    • Assist with the creation of marketing assets and promotional collateral as needed.

Requirements:

  • 7+ years' experience in a marketing professional services, and/or creative agency environment.
  • Post-Secondary Education in Graphic Design or relevant field.
  • Proficient in Adobe CC (Illustrator, Photoshop, InDesign and basic After Effects, Premiere Pro understanding).
  • Expertise in MS Office applications including PowerPoint, Word, Excel, and Outlook. Comfortable in a PC environment.
  • Experience with storyboarding and basic knowledge on video editing and animation with a digital-first approach.
  • Basic to intermediate working knowledge of motion graphics and custom animations.
  • Knowledge of creative, social, and web design, consistently bringing innovative solutions and delivering client service excellence.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Demonstrated ability to operate in a collaborative culture.
  • Strong project management skills, detail-oriented, flexible in style and approach, and able to prioritize multiple projects under tight deadlines.
  • Experience in conceptualization, solution development, campaign execution, and client relationship management.
  • Excellent communication skills, ability to clearly explain design concepts and solutions. Open to collaboration and constructive feedback.
  • Proven problem-solving skills, detail-oriented, ability to perform under pressure.
  • Ability to work independently and collaborate in a fast-paced environment.
  • Previous people or team management experience.
  • Knowledge of UI/UX concepts.
  • Influencing skills.
  • Agility and a 'can-do' mindset are critical to be successful in this role.
