About the Role:
The Creative Team Manager/Art Director will oversee the creative vision and operations of hospitality art projects, leading a team of designers and artists. This role is responsible for strategic direction, team management, and process improvement to deliver high-quality, innovative design solutions tailored for the hospitality industry.
Key Responsibilities:
- Creative Direction and Oversight
- Lead the conceptualization and execution of creative solutions, ensuring they meet both client needs and industry trends.
- Develop and uphold creative standards and style guides specific to hospitality projects.
- Oversee the production of visual elements, ensuring they align with hotel branding and design specifications.
- Collaborate with the 3D and print departments to ensure cohesive and high-quality outputs for hospitality settings.
- Strategic Planning and Process Improvement
- Set the creative vision, aligned with overall business goals, to enhance the company's market position in the hospitality industry.
- Continuously assess and optimize creative processes to improve efficiency, quality, and innovation.
- Monitor industry trends and competitor activity, ensuring the company stays at the forefront of hospitality design.
- Create and present strategic creative pitches and presentations that clearly communicate concepts to clients and stakeholders.
- Team Leadership and Management
- Manage, mentor, and develop a team of graphic designers, artists, and administrators.
- Set team goals and KPIs, track performance, and foster a culture of high achievement and collaboration.
- Lead team reviews and feedback sessions to maintain quality and alignment with project goals.
- Provide training and professional development opportunities for the team, ensuring continuous skill enhancement.
- Project Management and Operations Oversight
- Oversee all creative project operations, from concept to completion, ensuring they are delivered on time, within scope, and meet client expectations.
- Work closely with internal departments and HR on staffing, hiring, and performance management.
- Ensure realistic project timelines, coordinating with various stakeholders to maintain smooth workflow transitions.
- Manage multiple projects simultaneously, ensuring alignment with client briefs and high standards of quality.
- Client Management and Collaboration
- Serve as the creative lead in client meetings, ensuring a clear understanding of client brand identity, aesthetic preferences, and project requirements.
- Develop and maintain strong relationships with clients, ensuring satisfaction through effective communication and delivery of high-quality work.
- Lead presentations and client calls, providing updates on project progress and aligning on key creative decisions.
- Perform other duties as assigned by management.
Job Qualifications:
- Creative Art Direction experience in-house or at an agency.
- Creative team and resource management.
- Experience working directly with clients.
- Strong verbal and written communications.
- Ability to clearly articulate creative needs into a set of deliverables.
