Project Manager

Creative Artists Agency (CAA) is seeking a highly skilled Project Manager to join our CAA ICON team. As a Project Manager, you will be responsible for managing the day-to-day project implementation, including direct management of all staff, project design, construction, and other owner-direct contracts.
Key Responsibilities:
- Manage project design, construction, and other owner-direct contracts on behalf of the client.
- Track project budget and schedule compliance.
- Conduct regular meetings with the client's representative(s) on the status of the project budget and schedule.
- Establish solid working protocols with the ICON staff, design team, construction team, and other key consultants and project stakeholders.
- Assure a positive working environment for the entire project team.
- Develop and manage the project team in a value engineering process.
- Ensure comprehensive monthly reports are prepared and submitted in a timely fashion.
- Assist the project executive in finalizing construction costs.
- Develop and manage RFP processes for sub-consultants and vendors.
- Establish and attend regular owner/architect/contractor meetings.
- Manage the work of the design team to ensure high-quality work product.
- Oversee and monitor daily construction progress and quality control.
- Monitor and track the use of allowances or contingencies.
- Analyze change order requests and additional service requests.
- Establish a protocol for review and approval of contractor's monthly pay applications.
- Monitor construction submittals and final listing of necessary FFE equipment and products.
Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in construction, engineering, architecture, or real estate, or 7-10+ years of relevant experience on major projects.
- Familiarity with the Construction Specifications Institute (CSI) Division structure, construction change orders, and like documents.
- Advanced Microsoft Excel skills, including complex functions, formatting techniques, database sorting/filtering, and creativity when assembling, analyzing, and presenting data.
- Exceptional communication and organizational skills.
- Multi-tasking and problem-solving abilities.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Project preferred.
- Detail-oriented, organized, and creative.
- Provide on-site representation as required.
- Travel as required.
Compensation:
The annual salary for this position is in the range of $142,000 CAD – $202,000 CAD. This position is eligible for benefits and discretionary bonus. Wages may vary based on relevant experience, time in role, business sector, and geographic location.
