Accounts Payable Clerk Job Description

CB Canada is seeking a highly skilled Accounts Payable Clerk to join our team. As an Accounts Payable Clerk, you will play a critical role in ensuring the smooth operation of our financial processes.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Process and verify invoices, expense reports, and other financial documents
  • Update and reconcile sub-ledger to general ledger
  • Process checks and resolve accounts payable issues
  • Facilitate internal and external audits
  • Provide administrative assistance to the AP/Finance Department
  • Maintain proper storage of invoices, checks, and other documents
  • Verify, log, and send checks
Requirements:
  • Observant, accurate, and able to thrive in a fast-paced environment
  • Spreadsheet and database capabilities
  • Demonstrated communication, customer service, and interpersonal skills
  • Prior experience in an A/P role preferred
  • Accruals experience required
  • Accounts Payable (AP) experience
