Job Summary
We are seeking a Senior Accounts Payable Coordinator to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for ensuring timely and accurate processing of worldwide accounts payable from purchase to ultimate payment.
Key Responsibilities
- Match vendor invoices to purchase orders and ensure payment on a timely basis.
- Maintain vendor relationships and reconcile vendor statements.
- Complete month end closing process including period end accruals.
- Apply accounts payable policies and procedures and ability to explain to internal and external stakeholders.
- Perform other duties as assigned.
Requirements
- Post-secondary degree or diploma with a concentration in accounting or finance.
- 5-10 years experience in Accounts Payable.
- Technical aptitude to learn new technologies.
- Proven leadership and assertiveness.
- Effective communicator and strong interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work independently and efficiently to meet deadlines.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Focused attention to detail.
Additional Assets
- Experience with SAP.
- Previous accounts payable processing experience.
- Previous experience working in a multi-currency environment.
- Previous experience in a leadership role.
- Additional languages would be an asset.
Location
This is a remote opportunity, open to applicants authorized to work in Canada and the United States.
Salary Range
$50,000 to $55,000 CAD
