We are seeking a highly motivated and customer-focused Service Team Member to join our team at Michaels. As a Service Team Member, you will be responsible for delivering exceptional customer service, helping customers shop our store, and ensuring a fast and friendly checkout experience.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide excellent customer service, responding to customer inquiries and resolving issues in a timely and professional manner.
  • Help customers locate products, answer questions, and provide solutions to meet their needs.
  • Process transactions accurately and efficiently, handling cash, credit card transactions, and other payment methods.
  • Engage customers on the benefits of our Rewards program and Private Label Credit Cards, and assist with enrollments.
  • Participate in visual merchandising, including maintaining store recovery standards and ensuring a well-merchandised store.
  • Assist with Omni-channel processes, including Buy Online Pickup in Store (BOPIS) and Ship From Store (SFS).
  • Perform other duties as assigned, including truck unloading, stocking, and planogram (POGs) processes.
Requirements
  • Previous retail and/or customer service experience preferred.
  • Ability to remain standing for long periods of time, move throughout the store, and lift heavy boxes and access high shelves by ladder or similar equipment.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment, multitasking and prioritizing tasks to meet customer needs.
