Hourly Rate: $24.00 per Hour Plus Tips & Gratuities

Job Summary:
We are seeking a skilled and experienced Chef de Partie to join our team at the Fort St. John Chances Casino. As a key member of our culinary team, you will work closely with the Sous Chefs to ensure the highest standards of quality and service are maintained in the kitchen and throughout the restaurant.
Key Responsibilities:
- Assist the senior chefs in ensuring that fresh food and the complete menu choice are available throughout the service period
- Actively promote a customer-focused culture within the kitchen and service teams and promptly address customer complaints, concerns, or queries
- Work with the food service team to develop clear communication and liaison between the two areas and inclusive culture among all catering staff
- Work as an active and cooperative member of the team and willing to be flexible in approaching changes in practices and guest needs
- Participate in the promotion of the department's aim to meet and exceed the expectations of all its guests
Requirements:
- A good command of the English language, both spoken and written
- Good communication, interpersonal and organizational skills
- 1-2 years of previous experience of large-volume catering to consistently high standards
- A commitment to high standards of quality catering
- A willingness to learn on the job and develop new skills
Education and Certifications:
- Basic food hygiene certification or other equivalent qualifications
- Basic health and safety certifications or other equivalent qualifications will be an asset
- Previous experience in a similar role is an asset
