Chef MI is seeking a skilled and experienced Executive Chef to join our team. As a key member of our culinary team, you will be responsible for planning and executing menus, managing kitchen staff, and ensuring the highest quality of food and service.
Key Responsibilities:- Plan and execute menus that meet the needs of our customers
- Manage and train kitchen staff to ensure efficient and effective service
- Inspect kitchens and food service areas to maintain high standards of cleanliness and safety
- Order supplies and equipment as needed
- Supervise kitchen staff and helpers to ensure smooth operation of the kitchen
Requirements:
- Secondary (high) school graduation certificate
- 1 year to less than 2 years of experience in a similar role
- Safe Food Handling certificate
Preferred Qualifications:
- Cantonese cuisine expertise
- Dim Sum experience
Work Conditions and Physical Capabilities:
- Fast-paced environment
- Standing for extended periods
