Job Summary:

Arctic Tours Canada is seeking a skilled Travel Development Coordinator to join our team. As a key member of our marketing team, you will work closely with the Marketing Director to develop and execute memorable holiday experiences that meet the high expectations of our guests from around the world.

Responsibilities:

  1. Conduct market research and gather findings to inform trip development.
  2. Prepare and analyze Request for Proposal (RFP) documents for new projects.
  3. Negotiate contracts and collaborate with the Experiences Operations team to ensure seamless execution of new itineraries.
  4. Develop and maintain relationships with travel partners and vendors.
  5. Collaborate with the Sales Manager to ensure timely delivery of trip development projects.
  6. Manage multiple booking systems and conduct presentations and training sessions to share new products with teams.
  7. Partner with the Experiences Operations team to ensure all aspects of the itinerary flow seamlessly from development to operations.
  8. Manage social media platforms and create marketing materials for tradeshows and brochure flyers.

Requirements:

  1. Project management experience.
  2. Experience partnering internally and externally, domestically, and internationally.
  3. Negotiation experience.
  4. Guided tourism industry knowledge.
  5. Personal or professional travel experience.

Preferred Qualifications:

  1. Multiple language skills including Japanese, Korean, Chinese, and English.
  2. 3+ years of travel product development experience.
  3. Experience using Photoshop, Lightroom, Adobe, graphics design, and video editing software.
  4. 2 or more years of leadership or mentoring experience.

Education:

Bachelor's degree.

Compensation:

$17/hr plus gratuities.
