Job SummaryWe are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Human Resources Lead to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for developing and implementing high-level Human Resources concepts and tools, formulating and championing the HR vision, and ensuring deployment of corporate policies and procedures.
Key Responsibilities- Develop and implement innovative HR concepts and tools to support business growth and development.
- Formulate and champion the HR vision and strategies within the overall business plan.
- Coach and advise management and employees on personnel activities.
- Ensure deployment of corporate policies and procedures.
- Develop effective recruitment practices and function as a key player in the recruitment and hiring of staff.
- Help to build and maintain employee morale and enable the organization to increase its capacity for change.
- Identify legal requirements and government regulations and ensure compliance.
- Coordinate corporate organizational development programs.
- Manage technical training activities across operations.
- Implement controls and metrics to manage costs.
- Develop a consistent labour policy across all manufacturing plants.
- Prepare and present to the Executive Team an HR strategic plan that clearly identifies key priorities.
- Learn the company's business and industry to contextualize HR activities.

- Bachelor's degree or equivalent.
- 5-10 years of broad-based and progressive experience in a general human resources leadership role in industrial environments.
- Ability to communicate in French is a definite asset.
- Demonstrated success in leading a strategic HR function.
- Proven leadership and management skills with knowledge of current industry best practices.
- Able to grow the HR function as required and work effectively in a fast-paced culture.
