Human Resources Director

Courtyard by Marriott Downtown Toronto is seeking a Human Resources Director to join our team. This role will be responsible for overseeing the HR function, providing strategic guidance and support to employees and management.
Salary and BenefitsThe estimated salary for this position is $95,000 - $115,000 per year, depending on experience. Additionally, we offer a comprehensive benefits package including life insurance, health benefits, and retirement savings plan.
Job Description- Provide strategic leadership and direction to the HR function, ensuring alignment with business objectives.
- Develop and implement HR policies, procedures, and programs that support employee engagement and retention.
- Recruit, hire, train, and develop high-performing HR staff.
- Manage employee relations, grievances, and conflict resolution.
- Analyze and interpret data to inform HR decisions and recommendations.
To be successful in this role, you will need:
- A Bachelor's degree in Human Resources or related field.
- A minimum of 5 years of experience in HR, preferably in a senior leadership role.
- Excellent communication, interpersonal, and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Strong analytical and strategic thinking skills.
This role is based at Courtyard by Marriott Downtown Toronto, located in the heart of the city.
