Job Overview

At CP, we are seeking a highly skilled Business Development Lead to join our team. This role will be responsible for developing and executing account and commodity sales strategies that drive revenue growth and meet customer needs.

As a Business Development Lead, you will assess and mitigate key risks to the business strategy, lead the development and execution of contract renewals, and develop creative solutions during negotiations.

You will also identify, qualify, and secure key business development opportunities, develop customer relationships with current and future customers, partners, and stakeholders, and gather market and customer intelligence.

Key responsibilities include:

  • Sales Strategy Development: Develop and execute account and commodity sales strategies that drive revenue growth and meet customer needs.
  • Risk Assessment and Mitigation: Assess and mitigate key risks to the business strategy, ensuring alignment with company goals.
  • Contract Renewals: Lead the development and execution of contract renewals, implementing effective negotiating strategies.
  • Business Development: Identify, qualify, and secure key business development opportunities, driving revenue growth and expansion into new markets.
  • Customer Relationships: Develop and maintain strong relationships with current and future customers, partners, and stakeholders, ensuring exceptional customer experience.
  • Market Intelligence: Gather and analyze market and customer intelligence, providing valuable insights to inform business decisions.

The ideal candidate will have a Bachelor's degree in commerce, marketing, business, or a related field, with 2+ years of professional sales experience in energy, transportation, logistics, or supply chain industries.

Requirements include:

  • Education: Bachelor's degree in commerce, marketing, business, or a related field.
  • Experience: 2+ years of professional sales experience in energy, transportation, logistics, or supply chain industries.
  • Skills: Solid understanding of the sales process, excellent influencing and negotiation skills, financial acumen, and ability to analyze data.
  • Licenses: Valid driver's license and passport required.

We offer a competitive salary range of $85,000 - $110,000 per year, depending on experience, as well as a comprehensive benefits package, including flexible work arrangements, annual fitness subsidy, and part-time studies program.
