About the Role

As a Senior Digital Product Manager at Scotiabank, you will play a pivotal role in driving the strategy and execution of authentication and security-related initiatives for Digital Banking in Canada.

You will partner with technology, design teams, control functions, and business lines to deliver an optimal customer experience while ensuring our customers' safety and security.

Your Key Responsibilities

  • Champion customer experience while ensuring our customers are both secure and feel secure.
  • Collaborate with various teams and business lines to meet their needs around access and authentication.
  • Develop reusable and scalable software that internal teams can leverage to identify customers.
  • Lead problem discovery to understand customer needs and work closely with design and engineering partners to find solutions.
  • Assist in developing a vision and roadmap for your product area and create/maintain a detailed prioritized product backlog.
  • Use data-driven insights to inform decisions and drive an agile product development approach.
  • Maintain strong relationships with business stakeholders to ensure their requirements are translated into relevant products.
  • Establish clear OKRs for your product area and work with the analytics team to measure and assess key performance indicators (KPIs).
  • Stay up-to-date on industry trends in digital banking and security.

The Ideal Candidate

  • 5+ years of experience in building customer-facing digital products.
  • Proven track record of managing a technology product or a digital journey from inception to delivery.
  • Experience in web, mobile, or microservice development with a focus on fraud & security.
  • Strong problem-solving skills and ability to get things done.
  • Excellent organizational and analytical skills with attention to detail.
  • A curious and experimental mindset to drive innovation amidst uncertainty.
  • Strong facilitation skills with cross-functional team leadership experience.
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills to engage and influence stakeholders at different levels.
